Telehealth appointments
What are telehealth appointments – Telehealth appointments are medical consultation by telephone or video call.
Telehealth fees – Are currently bulk billed for valid Concession Card Holders.
Scripts or referrals – These can be sent securely to your mobile or email.
Please keep in mind – There are limitations to telehealth consultations such as the inability to perform a physical examination and the limitations of technology.
Some consultations may require an in-person visit with your doctor due to Medicare Legislation.
Our staff will help facilitate this if needed.
* Telehealth appointments will be called, generally, within a 2-hour window of your appointment time.
Appointment bookings
To book a doctors appointment, you may either call or book online:
What appointment length do I book?
Standard appointment (10 minutes) – If you have one medical issue to discuss.
Long appointment (20 minutes) – If you have multiple or complex issues to discuss with your doctor. Please note that the doctor may ask for a follow up appointment to ensure all issues are fully and thoroughly covered.
Urgent appointments & emergencies – Please call ‘000‘ if you require urgent medical assistance.
Practice quick facts
To be eligible for Bulk Billing you will need a valid Medicare Care.
WorkCover – WorkCover fees are in accordance with WorkCover schedules. Insurance consultations are charged at WorkCover rates. Consultations relating to employment are charged at the WorkCover rate. Please ask our friendly reception staff for details.
Fee information
Bulk Billing is available for all MBS eligible services. List available through MBS online – Click Here
Payment for procedures and non eligible services is required on the same day. Please contact reception if you have any questions regarding which services are privately charged.
Fees are subject to change – Please confirm with your doctor during your appointment.
Non Attendance Policy – If you are unable to make your appointment please contact reception within 2 hours of your scheduled appointment time. This will allow us to allocate your appointment to another patient in need. In the event that a patient does not attend a $50.00 fee will apply. Until the account is settled, access to the practice will be suspended.
